Bluegills are biting good, ice is 6 inches and building.

Fish are still biting on the big river. Nice big winter steelhead.

Fishing was good today, started
With plugs back dropping and hit fish. Then we switched to floats and got some doing that. It was cold and a little windy but did manage 6 steelhead and lost a few more.

Fishing remains decent with good numbers of fish in the river. Cold weather is on the way but fishing should remain strong over the new year.

The fish didn’t want to bite first thing this morning, but it was cold east wind and snowing. So we waited them out, fished through the bad and got to the good. Snow and wind stopped and the fish started biting about 1130 am. Had a great day after that.
